Laniﬁcio F.lli Cerruti 1881 has its roots in the eighteenth century Biella Italy where in 1881 Antonio Cerruti together with two brothers and a cousin found the company, buy the mill and gives rise to the activity on the banks of the river Cervo where the company nowadays is still situated.
Laniﬁcio F.lli Cerruti 1881 is partnering with Wild Foods Italy, a farm in the Umbrian Apennines below Tuscany which produces wool from domestic Sopravvissane sheep, and which has been run by the Francesca family since 1486.
